Implementation Support Specialist
Artisan Software, Inc. currently has an opening for an Implementation Support Specialist who is capable of bringing new customers online with our flagship application as efficiently as possible.
The Implementation Support Specialist is responsible for the initial data conversion, setup, technical support and user training tasks associated with new installations of Artisan’s broker/dealer system, a network-based back-office application built on the Windows platform. This position will work directly with the customers from the initial contract signing through testing and well into production, ensuring the customers’ expectations are met (if not exceeded) every step of the way. Specific experience in back-office operations within a broker/dealer, technical support for financial systems, project management, along with a solid general knowledge of the financial services industry is highly preferred.
Position responsibilities include:
- Direct user assistance in navigating the system.
- Resolution of technical issues related to data, application and/or infrastructure.
- Testing/QA of modifications and new modules and verifying conformance to specifications.
- Work closely with senior level analysts and application developers to support the system and its users.
- Make improvements to the internal support infrastructure by helping refine internal procedures with the goal of further improving client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in a technology related field or equivalent training/experience
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects with a keen attention to detail
- A high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to analyze and present complex technical solutions in a clear, concise manner
- Produce creative solutions for technical issues
- Knowledge of relational databases, client/server architecture, and basic programming constructs.
- Experience with application development
- Able to perform as a hands-on, energetic, motivated self-starter, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to be on-call beyond normal business hours/weekends
- Ability to travel on behalf of the Company
